#367 - Outlook PlugIn sync issue

Closed General Question created by Noah Verified Purchase 2 years ago

I am unable to AutoSync emails, tasks and calendar events. Manual syncing of emails works well, but Auto-Sync seems to yield no results. I have "Archive Mail Sent" and "Archive Mail Received" selected, and I have no selections made on the file tree. I also have Sync Calendar and Contacts selected. See below for excerpt from log.

    Hi there,

Regarding to the auto archiving auto sync there was known issues in v3.0.3 however the calendar syncing there is not any that we were aware of in regards to auto sync. Can you please upgrading your version to 3.0.4 and let us know how you get on.

      Hello,

Sorry, I just realized there was a response to this case. I have upgraded to 3.0.4 and I do see that emails are now syncing into Suite CRM. They are not relating to the associated accounts, but I believe that is due to the way we have our modules set up. I have also been able to get the Calendar to sync, but only when I manually create an event in Outlook. If I drag an email to my calendar in order to create a meeting, that does not sync. However, if I open that same meeting in outlook and clear the "Suite CRM" category, it does sync. I think it is perhaps due to the fact that Suite has already archived that email so it will not process it again as a calendar object. The true functionality I am trying to obtain is to create calendar tasks in Suite CRM in order to remind me to follow up on emails. Is there a way to initiate a calendar event when an email is flagged in Outlook and have that event sync with Suite? Thanks for your time.

      Noah

Hi Noah, thanks for your response.

Can you create a new Case regarding your additional query (The Calendar creation via Email) and we can tackle that separately?
