#1757 - problem with special characters: all text after a special character is not transferred to CRM
I use SuiteCRM 7.8.5, and Outlook 365 (so always up-to-date version). Plugin itself and archiving works. However if the email that I want to archive contains special characters (e.g. a smiley in HTML email), all characters / text following this character are deleted. So effectively, it is not possible to archive many emails since special characters like symbols are frequently used in emails. Thanks

Hi there,
Are you able to send us your DEBUG log when archiving a problem email with these special characters so we can see if the issue is on the Outlook plugin side or the SuiteCRM side. Also what is your current database charset for your SuitecRM DB?

I wanted to add images, but could not since it only allows to add image URLs???

Hi, I don't think it is really smart closing this issue "just" because of inactivity. That does not mean the problem is solved. I have 3.0.18.0 installed and still encounter the same problem. (I would like to update to 3.0.20.0, but don't find a download link? Don't want to go through the entire shopping cart...). So please fix the bug ;-) Or could you not replicate it? Thanks
