      Currently, two-way calendar synchronization is not available but it is under development. This feature will be added in the near future.

    The plugin works great! It's easy to install and configure. It would not work if you are using 64-bit Outlook. I could probably manually install the missing DLL to make it work, but I chose to install 32-bit Outlook instead.

    How to enable "Sync to outlook" checkbox?

    I follow the instruction and display on Edit/Detail view. The "Sync to outlook" checkbox appear in the panel, but disabled.

    It works very good. You should deactivate the contacts sync on the first run, because it sorts the contacts in the main folder and thus uploads duplicates.

    For the date of birth, I have no solution. If the standard format deviates (01.01.2018) then the plugin does not transfer them. Although I can change that system-wide, but then affects the entire CRM.

      The SuiteCRM version 7.12.13 is confirmed to be working with the Outlook Plugin versions 4.0.1, 4.0.2, and 4.0.3.

    Does not remember settings if you close Outlook, so you have to reconfigure it each time you load Outlook. What a pain!! Not Happy!! It would be great if it wasn't for this persistent problem. I am using 3.0.5.0

    It does work & I'm using it daily.
    There are a few bugs to sort out (maybe Outlook 2016 related), but it looks like it will be a real benefit when that happens.

    The plugin is helpful for the most part and worked very well in the beginning, but in the past couple of months, I've had issues with it logging me out after a very short amount of time and with the search function being very finicky. Right now, I have to log in several times a day, and when I search for a contact's email or name, the plugin is sometimes unable to find the contact, or there will be a long list of people with a similar name but not the person I'm looking for. I've found that if I use the intended contact's first or last name only, they will finally pop up. But this takes additional time and gets to be frustrating. Hopefully, these are just bugs that will be worked out soon.

    I just recently started using SuiteCRM, and tried the Outlook plugin while looking for an easy method to transfer my existing contacts to SuiteCRM.

    That didn't really work. First, there is no way to select which contacts to sync. It's either all or none. So I copied those I wanted to sync to a separate folder and synced that one. That didn't work either, as the first few contacts would sync, but the rest would not. The only way to get it to work was to copy the Vcards one-by-one to the sync folder and manually check if the SuiteCRM Outlook plugin caught and synced them. That wouldn't have saved me a lot of time.

    And the biggest issue is that the plugin keeps freezing Outlook randomly. I'm writing an e-mail, only to realize at some point that Outlook stopped registering my keyboard entries. I then have to wait between 15 seconds and 1 minute for Outlook to un-freeze. This keeps happening frequently and renders Outlook unusable.

    Hence: plugin uninstalled, trial cancelled. I will either have to find another way to import my contacts, or may have to look for another CRM solution. I certainly won't set up 800+ contacts and 200+ accounts manually. Shame there still is no CalDAV/CardDAV support. The easiest solution would be to sync SuiteCRM with my Baikal server, but I have yet to find a way to make that work.

    In theory this would be a good plugin. However, it seems to not support https at all. When I created tickets on their Support Forum, there was no response. An email to support only yielded a reply to use an insecure (http) connection. It's amazing to me that at this date and time they do not understand the importance of security.

    V3.0.5 keeps losing it's configuration, V3.0.7 won't install on windows 7 pro x86 but will on x64

    I spent 3-4 hours working with this today, and found it pretty frequently caused Outlook to freeze for 5-10 minutes. My only recourse was to kill Outlook from Task Manager. I really wish this would work for me, being able to simply synch contacts between Outlook and SuiteCRM would be very valuable.

    It seems that this product is not developed anymore.
    Still no support for SuiteCRM 8 and now information when it will be available.
    Problems with earlier versions, like disappearing product key were never corrected either.

    I have tried this outlook plug in a couple of times and my outlook become incredibly slow or does not respond for around 20 seconds. as soon I remove this add-in, outlook returns to normal. I also had no response from support. Robert

    I bought the add-on because it was promised to deliver calendar and contacts integration with outlook by the end of 2020.
    Four months later, nothing has happened and nobody even answers when these features will be delivered. In the mean time I have paid the license in full...

    At the very least you should tell us when it will be ready...

    Unfortunately, this has proven to be a pretty complete disappointment. The plugin does work for our intended task (archives Outlook messages to Suite), but in the process, it generates a constant stream of error dialogs. It also appears to leave mailboxes in an inconsistent state. When you try to close Outlook, it spews dozens of "Save your work?" dialogs.

    I've opened a support case for this, and after a week I've received no response. Based on the other responses in the support queue, it feels like V3 is abandon-ware. Maybe give this a try when V4 comes out.

    It looks like V4 will not handle our use case since auto-archive now requires Azure. This has been an utter waste of time, and the complete lack of response for support cases or direct email just compounds the issue.

    We really wanted this to work for us, but the horrific lack of support coupled with the fact that it doesn't work ultimately made the decision for us. I guess it's a good thing for free trials. The funny thing is, they closed the support ticket for the reported bug without fixing it, due to the fact that I cancelled the trial. I guess in some magic land that fixes the bug...???

    My recommendation - stay away... at least for the time being. Maybe they get the issues worked out down the road.

      Sorry you had a few issues. Regards to the closing due to being a trial that certainly wasn't the case this was a mistake on our side so apologies is came across as that.

      Regards to the configuration issue and .NET issues you were having we have added this as a queued internal issue regardless if anyone finishes a trial or not. So yes, we'll keep this up to date.
