#1769 - Settings not working with special characters?

Our normal SuiteCRM users are defined with their Email address as login reference (e.g. first.last@mail.com).
When I try to setup/connect with such a user, the system gives an error message: CRM server error 10 (Invalid Login). When I, however, setup a dummy user with a simple username ("John"), I can successfully link Outlook to SuiteCRM.

Is it possible that usernames with special characters fail in the current plugin? A bug?

    HI there,

    We have just tried a username of abc@abc.com and was able to successfully login. Aswell as using abc.abc@abc.com and again able to successfully login.

    Does your users have role restrictions that could impact the plugin? Are you using LDAP either or just standard passwords?

    Hi,

    We are indeed using LDAP with automatic user creation (login --> profile is created) , could that be the issue?
    My user was admin, so I don't think it is a rights issue.
