#327 - Not syncing
Hi guys, I just purchased the outlook suitecrm outlook plugin and I'm not seeing some of the items you are referencing. I don't see how to sync calendars, when i go to manage plugin, it sends me off to outlook online.
I do have office 365 but I thought I might get away with it since I am using outlook locally.
If I can't resolve this I may convert my mailbox to not run with microsoft but to run on my hosted webserver. and reset my outlook to not require exchange.
Thoughts?

Hi, developer here.
Office 365 (with local Outlook 2016) is what I've been using for development and testing; it works fine.
Firstly, please get the latest (3.0.3) version. Secondly, start Outlook; once it's started, you should see a SuiteCRM item on the menu bar. Selecting this should show a SuiteCRM ribbon, and on that you'll see a settings icon.
Click the settings icon and you'll get a dialog in which you can enter all the settings.
The dialog has tabs down the left hand side - make sure you've visited all the tabs.
I think the dialog is pretty clear, but then I would ;-)
Cheers

Hi guys -
I downloaded the plugin a few hours ago, and selected "both" under "Sync Contacts". I have quite a few contacts in my outlook that aren't in SuiteCRM as is is relatively new for us. I'm using Outlook 2016
Looking at my SuiteCRM I can see that there have not been any new contacts added or Synced from Outlook.
I can tell that the plugin working the other way, though - I'm able to search contacts and such from within Outlook.
And I can also archive messages to SuiteCRM from Outlook, that works fine.
Just the Outlook Contacts -> SuiteCRM sync that doesn't appear to be doing anything. Should I just give it some time? Or is there some way to tell that it's working/in-progress?
Thanks! Matt

Hi mboynton,
Try upgrading to the latest version 3.0.4 and let us know how you get on. If it still fails to create new Contacts please set your logging level to DEBUG and send it to us at outlook[at]salesagility[dot]com referencing this Ticket #327
