Hi there I Bought today your plugin, i set it up, but im not able to archieve anything, then i consult the FAQ, and i realise this:

"Will SuiteCRM Outlook Plugin v4 support other mail accounts (none Microsoft)?

Unfortunately no, the SuiteCRM Outlook Plugin v4 will only support mail accounts that resist on the Microsoft platform - Exchange, Office 365, or Outlook.com account type."

Is this true, only Microsoft accounts can archieve on SuiteCRM ? If so you should considering change it, an open source CRM that requires Exchange to be working with!!!!

    Hi Pedro,

    Currently Yes, the only accounts our plugin supports are ones which reside on the Microsoft platform. At the moment I don't believe it is planned nor know if it is possible for more account types to be supported however I will pass your suggestion on to the team!

    In regards to SuiteCRM, Exchange is not required in any capacity to use the CRM and its email functionality, you can sync many other accounts and email types directly through the CRM and if on other email platforms via other 3rd party plugins. If you need any info on a specific email provider and on finding the best way to include them within your CRM, please let me know, and I can get you started in the correct direction.

    Hi there thanks for your quick reply, our hosting(email and domains) are based on opensource, our mail server suports imap, pop(we do not have collaboration), i need to be able to sync the accounts from several domains that are configured with IMAP within SuiteCRM to be able to archieve contacts, accounts and cases, thats my main goal, Is there any 3rd party plugins to be able to do that?

    I have a tight schedule to make this working, my administration board are demanding this.

    In the meantime, have you tried using the build-in email module? Most likely you could use the pop, IMAP features present there as so long as you give them the right data they should be able to pull from where your hosting.
