#441 - Calender Sync not working

Closed Bug? created by guidofueth 7 years ago

Hi,

I purchased the Outlook plugin a while ago. While the Archive function for email is working pretty good, i cant get the calendar sync to run.

I have installed the plugin and entered my credentials. The Connection to my suitcrm Installation is working fine. I activated the sync for the calendar and hit save. It does not seem to work. Maybe I am missing something.

I am using: Windows 10 64bit Office 2016 64bit latest Version of the Outlook plugin.

Best regards

    Hi guidofueth,

Is it possible if we could ask you to send your DEBUG logs (logs set at DEBUG level) during replicating the issue to our support email address outlook[at]salesagility[dot]com referencing this Ticket #441. If you could also include what PHP version you are running off of, that would be much appreciated and we'll investigate.

    Hi guidofueth.

Sounds like you have Roles already set up for your user on SuiteCRM. By default all users has access to all modules so perhaps your system admin has restricted it based on Teams. Only Admin users are able to adjust Roles and Access via the Admin > Role Management. Ask them to change the Export & Import access to the particular modules (Accounts, Contacts, Meetings, Calls, Tasks).

I havent set any roles yet. (I am admin by myself)

The calendar sync is not working with standard user nor it is working with an admin user.

    Hi guidofueth,

Can you send your suitecrm.logs over to us at outlook[at]salesagility[dot]com - these would be at fatal level (which is default). We believe that it may be a query failing which returns an obscure warning - Access Denied.

    New findings:

Running Outlook in Administratormode, right-click "Running as Admin", shows that appointments are queued, but the outlook-appointments do not appear in SuiteCRM and vice-versa.

May be the language the problem (in my case it's a German Outlook and a German Suitecrm).

May it be, that the plugin doesn't find the appropriate folder in Outlook. It's in my experience a common problem when importing data in Outlook.
