Official SuiteCRM Outlook Plugin v4 has arrived - Compatible with the Outlook Web App or Outlook 2016+ connected to Office365 or Exchange Server 2016. A complete rebuild developed and maintained by SuiteCRM developers, the addon retains previous functionality while massively improves performance, reliability and stability!
#319 - Worked great for emails, then stopped and is asking for the settings' info
I setup the add-on, them it stopped working and the settings were blank. I re-added the settings and I'm told the remote server returned an error (404) Not Found)
My CRM's firewall blocks most traffic, so if the traffic is coming from the suitecrm store etc... that may be the issue????

Hi 1reason,
What returns the 404 error? Is this to your own CRM or to the store license verification via the plugin settings?

The Outlook settings. It worked, and then I tried to use it the next time I rebooted my computer and when I opened Outlook, the settings popped up and was completely blank. I re-filled the fields, and a pop up stated the 404 error.

Is the Popup 404 when you click 'Save' on the settings? Or when you click 'Test Login'?

Hi there,
That would indicate that the plugin can not connect to your CRM instance. A 404 is a basic error that says the browser (or plugin in this case) can not find your URL.
Are you able to copy that URL exactly into your browser and connect to your CRM successfully?

Yes, I've tried copying and pasting the URL, both from the browser I'm using, and from the settings into a browser. If it's going from my computer (and my IP), there should be no problem as my IP address is open on the firewall.
On the other hand, if there's another site, one to check on the licence key for example, that is trying to access the CRM, it should not get through the firewall.

If you set your logging to DEBUG and view the SuiteCRM plugin logs (via AppData/Roaming/SuiteCRMOutlookAddIn/Logs) it should inform you of which URL it is trying (and failing) to connect to when you click the Test button.
If it isn't an obvious answer please feel free to send us the logs at outlook[at]salesagility[dot]com.

Hi 1reason - Regards to the additional URL yes the license key checks the store URL.
