#3576 - Syncing Issue for Apple iMac - Microsoft Outlook
I have read this forum prior to purchase and seen that the outlook plugin should work with Apple iMac outlook, however, there are contradicting posts.
I have paid for this and have not been able to get it to work, either it is not fit fr purpose or when I was told this plugin would work I was lied to.
Can you advise if it is clearly compatible with iMac and if so why I keep getting an unknown error message and no syncing or if it isn't how I go about getting this refunded?

Sorry for the delay,
mac is not yet officially supported and as such is not stated on the store page. The Microsoft add-in system our plugin utilises should work on mac and therefore the plugin may be compatible with those devices but we are unable to confirm this is the case.
Can I confirm you have installed the v4.0.0 zip into SuiteCRM successfully? Have you downloaded the manifest file from the SuiteCRM Outlook Config page successfully? Have you installed the manifest file into Outlook successfully? Could you please pass us a screenshot of the error you are receiving?

i have now been able to upload screenshots, i have also recently at the time of writing this response, created new client id's and client secrets to double check and the same errors still come up. this is using the old look outlook on an iMac retina 5k 27inch 2019 - outlook is up to date and the plugin is the most up to date also.

Its now been 3 months and not even an acknowledgement. What is going on? Ticket after ticket, saying this isn't working and no responses.

From reviewing your issue, it looks like it having trouble connecting to your SuiteCRM API. This is commonly because it not been setup properly, as further step are required post installation of SuiteCRM.
I refer you to the SuiteCRM documentation on setting up the API, in particular, setting the public and private keys --> https://docs.suitecrm.com/developer/api/developer-setup-guide/json-api/#_generate_private_and_public_key_for_oauth2
Please check these have been setup and permissions set correctly then hopefully this will resolve your issue
