Sorry guys - I used the tool to merge two records and then the error started in the log again. Here is what I see....
Mon May 11 10:35:04 2020 [FATAL] Urdhva Tech - DataCleaner Cron : DataCleaner is no longer active. Please renew your subscription or check your license configuration.
Any other thoughts on how I might resolve this?View Comment

Unfortunately I cannot grant access to our system due to nature of the data but I can tell you about our environment;
SuiteCRM 7.8.1 running under Linux.
If a user uploads a file called "TPO's Broker.xlsx" - it cannot be retrieved.
If I go to the folder the system and find the file and remove the apostrophe and then do the same in the database it will work.

I was not really thinking of using a scheduler for this. I wanted to write some specific PHP that would generate the PDF. We use process manager that already has the ability to use a series of events or a schedule to launch PHP code for specific records. It is aware of the ID of the record of focus already. As far as I can tell you now use JS to launch the creation of a PDF and I cannot get that to work via php.
I was thinking more along the lines of a system URL that knows what PDF to generate;
Sample from our system today used to open a record.....
What if we could add the ID of the template we want and maybe change the action to MailMergePDF - I could then construct that URL in PHP and get PDFs without the UI.
Or something like that.

See the attached screenshot - it is the UI that lets me put field level security on modules. Is this not part of your add-on?

I have 3.1.8 SecuritySuite - Enhanced, Professional, and Enterprise - installed. It already has the Additional Assigned Users. It is only that I cannot set control of that field via Roles. Is that in the Enterprise version? Anything else in the Enterprise version?View Comment

If I am using a custom module and custom fields that are for addresses - how does the auto-complete work in terms of knowing where to parse the Google address into?View Comment

The issue has not resolved itself yet. It is only one module and it is only the EditView that picks the default view but the List and the DetailView are correct. Next steps? Thx

Yes - we have deployed the EditView for that security group many times. What is strange is the the DetailView is selected and used correctly and only the EditView defers to the default. Is there a possibility that the Repair is not clearing the cache or something like that? Any other suggestions? Thanks PeterView Comment

Thank you. We eventually found the problem, it is related to the number of modules in our system and a default setting in PHP.
There is a setting in the php.ini file that limits the array;
max_input_vars = 1000
We needed to increase that value and then it all worked as expected. The odd part was that there were not errors or anything reported in either the SuiteCRM log or the PHP log.

This product is perfect to suit our needs. Our specific implementation we add data to various custom modules in a variety of manners which ends up creating some duplication, this tool is the only one available that can search and merge duplicates in an automated fashion. There is no other tool available to do this. View Add-on
