#4476 - PHP version compatibility

Hello Team.

I noticed that the module fails when I enable PHP version 8.x on our server. Is this something expected? SuiteCRM works fine when using 8.x, but not this module. The reason for wanting to change to php 8.1 is basically the performance.

      Hi. SuiteCRM Version 7.12.2 Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344)

      SuiteRM Productivity Module Version 6.0.58 (Enterprise)

    Hi, can you please provide some more information what exactly fails? Are you not able to load and install the module or does it fail when archiving?

    Hello Team.

    I just gave it a try and I do the following to have the errors appear: - Switch to PHP 8.1 for our SuiteCRM installation - Click on “Create as Contact” on the Implicit Outlook side panel - I get an error saying “URI no válido: URI está vacío” (URI not valid: URI is empty) - The window to select an existing account comes up, I select it and click OK - The Outlook contact creation window comes up, I enter all the information and click save, I get the same “URI no válido: URI está vacío” error - The contact is not saved and not synchronized.

      Yes. It works perfectly. I just upgraded SuiteCRM to 7.12.7 yesterday and the same still happens. The problems appear when I switch to PHP 8.0 or above.

    Hi,

    We found a server-side issue when connecting via the API to SuiteCRM 7.x when running PHP 8. It doesn't affect SuiteCRM when connecting via the browser, only when you connect via the API and only with PHP 8. We're waiting at this point for this issue to be resolved.
