#424 - SuiteCRM Outlook Integration Implicit

I have just ordered the above. I installed it but it is not working properly. I had to uninstall it.

It looks brilliant but unfortunately, I found several critical problems:

1) the menus are not clearly showing. They are like half hiding.

2) I cannot see my emails anymore on Outlook. When I uninstalled Implicit I was able to see them again.

3) The panels and fields that I added to the basic SuiteCRM don't show on Outlook.

Are there any solutions for the above? If not I will have to cancel this order. Please advise.

    All the menus and ribbon buttons except for ‘Sync Now’ are grayed out (disabled) until you perform the initial sync. When you login for the first time, the system walks you through a process of configuring the sync settings for the different modules and then starts the initial sync. During this time the menus are grayed out. Please see the user guide or follow the instructions on the screen on how to perform the initial sync. Once that cycle is done, the menus will be enabled.       I followed the user guide. The sync was complete. The menu ribbons are not fully showing. I can only see half of the words! Outlook emails disappeared. The panels and fields are not showing after full sync.

      Please answer all my questions.

    Are functions not completely available during the trial version. Is that the reason?

    For example, sync works most for 3 months. This is "greyed out" and I cannot change. Am I able to change that when I make the purchase?

    About half of the the "ribbon menu" in displayed (see attached). The rest is not showing. Is that because of the trial again or is there something else.

    I really like the software but you need to help me with my queries so I am able to use it and make the purchase.

    After the initial sync, the time frame that you selected under sync configuration for the initial sync settings become disabled since you've already done initial sync.

    As for the menus, I am guessing you are using a Surface tablet. We have a fix for it. We will send you the new version directly.

      So does that mean I cannot change for next syncs? It is still greyed.

      Ok i received a newer version from Roonie thank you. I was just wondering whether I need to uninstall the old version or just let the new one overwrite it. Also, if I need to uninstall, do I do it from control panel/uninstall programmes?

    No, this settings takes effect only during initial sync. After initial sync any changes to a record on either end will be synced.

    You can just run the new version to upgrade. No need to uninstall the previous version

    All great now with the ribbon.

    Now last question. When sync certain items such as documents and emails show on SuiteCRM online but not on Outlook anymore. Is it possible to still see everything both on Outlook and online even after sync? (I syncing both ways by the way). Please advise.

    We don't sync emails or documents bi-directionally. We archive emails from Outlook to Suite CRM and associate them with a record that you select. Same for documents. We don't remove emails from Outlook or documents from your desktop
