#3995 - Actionable emails are not shown in the account module

Hi,

Although we have the ife_actionableemails_accounts relationship and the actionable emails' subpanel in the account module, we don't see the related actionable emails in the account. When we open the pop-up menu we can see the actionable emails and when they are selected they will be shown. Can you please help us with this issue?

    Hi,

    Can you please check if the server returning an error when you mark an email as actionable? Please check both FrontEnd log and the SuiteCRM server log. It sounds like either a relationship is missing or some permission issue.

      Thank you for your reply. It can not be the security issue as I am testing with the administrator account. I checked the logs and could not find any error, but noticed that there is no ife_actionableemails_accounts in the log. I also checked the ife_actionableemails_accounts_c table in the database, and it is empty either. Another point that I noticed, when I create a new actionable email for the company, it will be related automatically with the contact, and they are all shown in the contacts. Even when I select the company as the related item, it will connect the contacts to actionable email. We renamed our account module to company and had already some issues with the account list in the plugin, which were kindly fixed in the new release. Can it also be due to this change?

    Hi,

    We create parent-child relationship between the actionable emails and accounts. Although this is sufficient for the functionality that FrontEnd offers, it's not enough in order to view actionable emails as a sub-panel under accounts. For that we would need to create many-to-many relationship to accounts (and the same for contacts). We are planning to add this functionality to the next release that we are planning in few weeks. We'll let you know once it is released.
