Implicit FrontEnd provides deep integration with Microsoft Outlook. In addition to full two-way synchronization of Outlook data such as contacts and calendars, it allows you to sync CRM data including accounts, opportunities, quotes etc. so that you can do all your CRM work without leaving Outlook. In addition, FrontEnd allows you to leverage the rich Outlook functionality to provide tools such as manual and automatic email archiving, collaboration and approval, opportunity tracking and more.
#189 - Old meetings enties do not sync
Hello,
Am currently trialling implicit and have found that past meetings stored in Outlook are not synchronising with suiteCRM. We have checked the implicit settings and meetings are set to synchronise for the past 24 months.
Have tried to re-sync all on several occasions, as well as manually assign the implicit frontend category to meetings, but neither of these options work. Contacts appear to be synchronising correctly and cannot see any errors in the log.
Newly created meetings appear to synchronise from Outlook to suiteCRM, but we need to synchronise historical items as well.
Can you please advise on how to get this working?

Unsure as to why this is closed, as we have not received a response.

Sorry, I thought we clarified the issue during our support call.
When you configured the initial sync to synchronize past meetings for the last 24 months, you configured the Sugar to Outlook synchronization only. To sync meetings from Outlook to Sugar you need to select the meeting and specifically mark it for synchronization (check the box the instructs the add-in to sync it). You can do it either individually or in a batch by setting the FrontEnd category but to ensure that we don’t sync any personal or private appointments / meetings from Outlook to Sugar, we require users to specifically mark them for synchronization.
