#159 - lDAP Authentication

Hi,

Unable to get ldap authentication to work. As a workaround i have created a user in Suite manual and this is working as a proof of concept. When i try to use ldap i just get a invalid user/password message. I know my credentials are correct.

    Hi,

    To use LDAP authentication, you need to enable LDAP on your server and set a value for the encryption key (It cannot be blank). Then set the same value in FrontEnd login dialog

      On the Suitecrm admin menu? if so i have done that and added it into the FrontEnd. Still does not work

    We tested on our instance of SuiteCRM and it works fine. Please re-check LDAP settings on your server

    Hi, we are experiment difficulties using Outlook integration with LDAP Authentication from our SuiteCRM Version 7.8.5 (Sugar Version 6.5.24 [Build 509]).

    When verify having server and users LDAP Authentication Enabled at SuiteCRM Server configuration. Also we can login at SuiteCRM web login page it works fine authenticating LDAP with our Active Directory Server.

    In Outlook we couldn't authenticate. Program shows error: "Unable to verify your account".

    The trace file just shows an authentication error (unable to login). I'll contact you over your private email to arrange a call with one of our support engineers.
