#1500 - Feature suggestion: photo fields from Camera
Hi. I just heard from a person I know who uses QuickCRM Pro that he would love to be able to add photos directly from the Camera into a Photo field in Leads and Contacts.
This photo field is a custom field added to those records. It is not using any add-on, it uses the SuiteCRM default photo field type, and it is simply added from Studio / Leads / Fields and then added to the views.
Currently, this person is adding a Note with Photo to the Lead, and then on the Desktop converts it to the actual photo field. But it would be nice to be able to put it in there directly from the smartphone camera.
This is just a feature suggestion, I just wanted to let you know, add it to some list you have somewhere, and then you can close the case :-)

Hi,
This already exists. The camera can be used on photo fields, both with edit view and inline edit on detail view. There is a camera icon for that. See, for example contacts photo field on our demo server.
Did you add that photo field to the mobile views?
