#4388 - Licensing Questions
Hello, we are planning to use TapCRM with our SuiteCRM installation but have a couple questions about licensing we need answered to ensure we are configured in the correct way.
First, we plan to have a development instance, staging instance and a production instance of SuiteCRM running so that we can make required changes in development, publish them to staging for approval and then publish again to the production site for client use. The development and staging sites would probably only need one license, and the majority of licensed users would be on the production installation, does this type of set up require multiple license keys with different users for each installation? Is the way the license is tied to an installation of SuiteCRM strictly through the Site URL or public host name?
Also, what about repeated activation? If we blow away our development environment and start up a new instance, will our license still work if the Site URL stays the same?
