#3081 - Moving Average Report

Hi,

I've looked through the manual... I'm sure it's possible to create reports based on moving average but I can't work out how it can be done.

Are you able to assist? I'm looking for reports on opportunity value and invoce values that will show the moving/rolling average by 3, 6 or 12 months. Is this possible?

    Hello Dave,

    If I understand, you want to see AVG for last 3, 6 or 12 months? If this is correct, you can add Date filter 'Passed days' - and enter e.g. '90' for last 3 months. It will always calculate AVG for last x days based on date when you run a report.

    Then under 'Aggregates' tab select "AVG" for Average.

    But if this is not what you need, maybe we should schedule a live web meeting for better explanation?

      Hello,

      Thank you for the description, - I still think it is passed x days and then in addition to what we described above, - under "Grouping & Sorting" group by Date - can select Month or Quarter or Year.
