DocParser creates PDF or MS Word documents based on any record and it's related data. DocParser can be used to merge information from any module into a presentation-quality document and create an MS Word and PDF documents. The parsed document can be downloaded from both the List view and Detail view.
#1521 - Question on using custom modules and related modules
Can this plugin generate documents from custom modules more than one relationship away? That means, use data from a related module of a related module?
Also, is there a method that I can invoke the document generation via a URL? I am looking for a tool so that I can generate and save PDFs from a record on a schedule or event.

Hello Peter,
DocParser currently supports data to be parsed from the related module. Data from a related module of a related module can be developed for your specific need for a specific module and relationship. Generation of document happens from detail view and listview, A scheduler or generation via URL is not in the scope of the addon.
