#3668 - Configuration of the Sales Pipe Plugin

Closed Bug? created by Sma 3 years ago

As you can see in the attached Screenshot, there is a configuration section. But this section is not saveable and it looks kind of broken cause some Labels und Fields are missing data and informations as you can see.

Can you tell me, how i can set the Sort criteruium per Salesstage? In my opinion it should be Next action date or something like this. Based on attached calls or Meetings start date?

I try to guess where do You find this screenshot? To be honest such configuration was in our previous versions, but we removed it from current version listed is store.sutiecrm.com, due little bit hard configuration. I checked again – irt is removed from all public SalesPipe descriptions. But it‘s working, we use it by ourselves ant in SuiteCRM instances what we are supporting directly So if it important for You, we could try to make a mixed version. By default SalesPipe work as it is now, but if You want You could try to use this advanced config functionality.

    Tanks for you fast response.

This is been shown as Navigation Point called SalesPipe.

    1. I would prefer this configuration possability, to definie the next activity date as sort criterium.
    2. Can i show the expected close date too in the Overview?
    3. My last Column "Closed Lost" is not showing Data, the closed lost stages opportunities value is shown in the first Link in the red cell, but the closed lost Column is not showing anything.

We are working on it . I think this week we will have SalesPipe version that is working without any configuration, but if you want You could add one or few Sales Processes configurations as shown in this picture.

OK, nice. Small improvement too: When clicking double on "Won" or "Lost", the Popup that opens, shows the Opportunities that are won or lost. Can you add a Link to the reffered Account etc.? Actually its not clickable.

Hello, sounds very good. If you want, i can give you more Ideas to improve value of the plugin?

The Option to define the sort criterium of the List and showing the estimated closing date will be helpful for the moment. Have you thought about forecasting per month?

First off all, I want tp apologize for delay, but I think tommorow we will have thsi new version. To make field Sort by in the header, I think we wil make it in the next release. Sales Forecasting is very useful feature, but its part of sales analitics report, that we have done under Power Bi platform. After we trying to work with Power bi, I drop idea to make something similar inside CRM.

If i can define the primary sort criterium in general in the Admin Backend or so, that would be ok for me.

By default SalesPipe is sorted by days in Stage. What other criteriums could be useful?

Date of the next Activity is more important i think, and by expected Close Date would be interesting too? Both should be possible to define as sort criterium. Can you implement that in the next days?

OK, really looking forward to it.

One issue: I am not able to sort the Columns of the stages. Actually it is like unsorted, initially it was correct.

Can you add that function or tell me how i can sort the stages in the columns?

Go to Mokas SalesPipe Settings module via menu or directly {crm url}/index.php?module=MitSP_SalesPipe. Add new record and there You could define sorting criterium.

More details You could find in description under Administration section https://store.suitecrm.com/docs/salespipe/admin-guide

Thanks, after Repair & Rebuild i can see the Config fields. But when selecting SORT by next action, from my point of view it is not working. Displayed Date of the next Action has no effect on the sort criterium. Have you checked that? On your Screenshots i can only see Opportunities without next Actions.

"Days limit in stage: All opportunities that are laying in stage more that this number of days are marked red; This setting is taken line by line to opportunities marked in field Sales Stage."

An other thing: I have no field for the Max Days per Stage anymore.

Days in stage filed we put again, download 2021-06-30 version and do "Repair&Rebuild". Yes, this setting is taken line by line in the same order as opportunity stages are.

Thank you, days in stage is available now.

I tested it an think that its not working correct too. For me it is only working in the first Stage.

The Sort by next action funtion is tested intensly. When sorting DESC 2/3 of the Opps. are sorted correct but than ist unsorted. Can you provide me access to your test system so that i can reproduce the issue?

Thanks a lot for you fast support.

      Received it.

I think the Problem of the Sort Bug could maybe be my Datetime Format? See the Picture attached and see my configuration.Salespipe2.PNG Salespipe.PNG

You can see that 10 Days Limit in Stage in configured too, so 3 of the 4 items should be marked red i think.

Every one of these are Meetings as action.

Does it make a difference if it is planned as Call or Meeting? It should both be possible i think?

Thanks a lot for your fast response.

No it's all - meetings, calls and task are actions. If sales reps arranged any of them to opportunity, it means that he knows what to do next, opportunity is under control.
