#1104 - How does Security Work

Open General Question created by tcohen 6 years ago

I am implementing this for about 20+ sales people. However, I have about 40+ users in the system. some work cases the others are sales.

Is there a way to filter out users from the Quota display based on the user or role?

    Hi ,

Quotas have their own access rights. So you can safely disable access to the Quotas in roles. Also, besides specific access rights of Quotas, Users would also need access to Opportunities to display the sales vs quotas results.

Correct, but I don't see Quotas in the roles. Is something wrong with the setup?

You should see "Users Quotas". If you don't, execute Repair / Repair roles.

One thing you should also do is disable edit to Users Quotas so that they can't modify their own quotas.

That worked. Thank you. Awesome product addition.

Now you need to create one of activity plan!!!!!

Thanks. Could you clarify that? Would that be a kind of target for number of calls or meetings per period?

    Sure.

Most sales organizations use what is called an activity cookbook.

You have to make so many prospect calls a day to get x appointments. Having 1 appointment a week should land you on good win per month.

What I would like to see is it broken down by week. Not 52 weeks, but per week.

25 Prospect calls per week. 3 Meetings per week. 5 Quotes per week.

Would you allow me to get in touch with you by email to discuss some rather complex issues?

of course. I don't want to post my email on this site. I am the COO of the company and sales people love to call me. How can I get it to you?
