#4409 - Compatibility with Customer Portal
I use the customer portal add on from Blackant Solutions - https://store.suitecrm.com/addons/ant-customer-portal. When I installed the 360 view, the ability to give users access to the portal disappeared. When the customer portal by blackant solutions is installed, I have an option when creating contacts, to allow that contact to have access to the portal. It is a simple check box at the bottom of the contact creation form. However, once I installed Customer 360 view, that option disappeared. The portal still worked, but I could no longer give access via the contact form.
I love the look of the Customer 360 View and the easy access to the information, but need the portal more. Is this something that you can review or make changes so that I can use both? Thanks and I am available to help troubleshoot. sb

Dear Customer,
Yes, installing a new addon for detail view will overwrite the old file. But nothing to worry about, as we take backup of old files while installing our addon.
Please follow the below steps to get it to work:
There is two files at "custom/modules/Contacts/metadata/", 1. a backup file of editviewdefs.php
2. editviewdefs.php
rename that backup file to editviewdefs.php and editviewdefs.php to editviewdefs.php_old.
