#1768 - Numbers are updated and changed when editing

Closed Bug? created by javier 5 years ago

Once a sequence is set it shouldn't change if the item is edited. However it will change every single time that it is edited.

Can you add some screenshots please? In some cases it makes sense, what you describe. But I would like to figure out, what are the presets of your actual records at Sugar.

Thanks for your screens. It looks like, the empty check fails at an existing record. Can you remove the readonly Flag at your Sequence and uncheck it? What happens afterwards?

Do you have any output at your current browser within the error console log? If you can not support me by that, I can offer a quick websession, where I need to get access by remote control to your CRM.

Even after removing the Read OnlyyFlag it still changes bid number when I hit edit. I do not have any error output from my browser. How do we get a web session so that you can check it for us?

Well if you have TeamViewer you can host a session. Another way would RDP. In the end I need some remote access to your web application and have a look. There are no other caes like yours, thus I assume a gap between your current SuiteCRM version or some settings conflict. You need to let me know, how you want to meet. I can just offer next week Tuesday or the week after for maximum 30 minutes.

Teamviewer is fine. What time next Tuesday and what time zone? I'm on MST Arizona time (-7:00)

By the way, my case sounds a lot like #1209. Please email me the calendar invite for the remote session to javier@24datasolutions.com
