Thanks... but isn't this a draw back? not all email service use the email as the user name???

Hi Let me try to explain the issue a bit more...

with my email account I can authenticate with SMTP with my user name (example seanfdo) and my email seanfdo@mail.com when I use my email as the user name to authenticate the workflow email works when I use seanfdo as user name the work flow email does not work

May be it does not work for custom modules..for when I tried it i tried it on a custome module
