#5205 - database collation

Closed Bug? created by jasminkreutz Verified Purchase 10 months ago

HI there.

I have a fresh installed suiteCRM 7.14.2 on php8.2 and mariadb 10.11. My whole database is utf8mb4_general_ci and all plugins I installed use automatically this collation.

My Problem is that Field Level Access does not use it. I have no ideas why, but somehow the access_controll_fields table is created with "utf8mb3_general_ci". Of cours thay dont work together...
unfortunately they break the whole system. No module is shown properly when the modul is installed... how to fix it?

I already have the database (the local settings) set to utf8mb4_general_ci. I have some other plugins in my installation none have had the problems so i guess it must be sometinng related to this plugin.

    Any other idea?
