#182 - Installation Failure Suite CRM Version 7.6.4 Sugar Version 6.5.23

Hello,

When installing the module through the module loader, I get to 17% then the installation freezes.

The log file shows this: Including: cache/upgrades/temp/KPaZIU/scripts/pre_install.php Failed to copy cache/upgrades/temp/KPaZIU/install_dir/include/generic/SugarWidgets/SugarWidgetSubPanelEditSecurityGroupUserButton.php to include/generic/SugarWidgets/SugarWidgetSubPanelEditSecurityGroupUserButton.php

I am using the versions marked Suite CRM 7.6.4 2.9.3b

    Hello,

    The 17% error will happen in SuiteCRM if the SuiteCRM installer runs into issues with copying files during the install process. This is always due to file permissions. I suggest adjusting permissions and file ownership. After addressing that the install should work correctly. This is a nice script to adjust permissions correctly for SuiteCRM. It will need to be tweaked for your server OS: http://www.shanedowling.com/sugarcrm-permissions-script/
