I can't commit to that due to the technical challenges, but we will try.View Comment

Quick Create is not currently supported for the Additional Users field due to complications with how SuiteCRM works internally. However, it is on the list still and we are looking for ways to make this possible to support.View Comment

It's a bit confusing, but these notices are not from SecuritySuite. It is from an Auto Populate add-on. However, they are just notices. To resolve, disable notices from being logged in your php.ini. This is recommended to disable in production.
I would recommend this configuration in your php.ini:
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_WARNING & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_DEPRECATED & ~E_STRICT
Be sure to save and then restart Apache after any changes to php.ini.View Comment

3.1.21 is ready to go that addresses the issue with the additional assigned users not coming over when duplicating a record. Just grab the matching zip for your SuiteCRM version at https://store.suitecrm.com/orders.
Install in Module Loader without uninstalling the previous version. Just install over it. Then run the Big 3 after the install: Quick Repair & Rebuild, Rebuild Relationships, and Repair Roles.View Comment

This issue appears to be more easily addressable. I'm going to focus on this issue first. Timetable will be 2 weeks due to a long overdue vacation.

I tried recreating the issue and if you use the Full Form option in the subpanel it works correctly. In Studio, it doesn't allow you to add Additional Assigned Users to the Quick Create form. This behavior has been disabled, but I wonder if you are on an older version that didn't prevent this from being added.
I see what we need to do in order to enable this to work in the Quick Create form. Hopefully there isn't a blocker. Will report back here.View Comment

Thanks for reporting this. I can see this as a possibility. I also owe a follow up on your other case. Give me until Monday to research and get back on both of these.

Here is a good breakdown of the features for each plan: https://store.suitecrm.com/addons/securitysuite/pricing
In the documentation for the Grant Admin Rights it does note that this is available in Professional:https://store.suitecrm.com/docs/securitysuite/grant-admin-rightsView Comment

I should have checked from the start, but you are currently on the Enhanced plan instead of the Professional. This feature is only available in the Professional plan. If you would like your plan switched over I can do that for you. There will be a one-time prorated charge for the remaining time before your next renewal.
Let me know what you would like to do here.View Comment

Be sure run Repair Roles from the Admin->Repair menu. Then set the Create rights to User Admin Only for Users/Security Groups/Roles as shown at the bottom here: https://store.suitecrm.com/docs/securitysuite/grant-admin-rights.
Once completed, the user will need to log out and then back in to refresh their permissions correctly as SuiteCRM caches permissions in their session.
Let me know if you have any questions.View Comment

This currently isn't supported or known. I will be sure to follow up here when there is a way to do this.View Comment

For the Mass Assign section to show under the list view the user needs to have List rights set for SecurityGroups in the role grid to All or Group. Try checking on that and seeing if that helps. Be sure to have that user log out and then back in after any role changes.View Comment

Thanks for reporting these. Deprecation notices should be turned off in your php.ini on production sites. To do this, edit your php.ini and look for error_reporting. Then add " & ~E_DEPRECATED" to the end of it and restart Apache. These messages will then go away.
We will address these in a future release.View Comment

Additional Assigned Users will work on any module that is "assignable". These modules are assignable in a sense, but it's a bit technical. I will look at adding an exception for these modules, but unsure what the timeline would be for that.
The work around right now is to edit /modules/Project/vardefs.php and /modules/ProjectTask/vardefs.php. The very last line of both files has something that looks similar to:
VardefManager::createVardef('Project', 'Project', array('security_groups', ));
Add assignable to that last array, save, and run a Quick Repair & Rebuild:
VardefManager::createVardef('Project', 'Project', array('security_groups','assignable', ));
Altered Project version
This has not been tested, but it should then cause the field to show in Studio so that you can add it to the layout. This is not an upgrade-safe customization. It's a work around for SuiteCRM not using the assignable vardef for those 2 modules like the rest do.
Hopefully this helps in the meantime!View Comment

Correct. The possible path is to define a relationship, but I'm not sure if that will give anyone what they'd want as far as making it display in a report. It would likely create a row for each additional assigned user in a report.View Comment

I have been digging into this the past week and not seeing a good path to add Reports support yet. It's a limitation of the SuiteCRM framework. I'm not entirely giving up yet.View Comment

Are you looking to be able to add this to a report or to assign additional users to a report? If it's to add to a report it is something that I can look into and report back by the end of the week.View Comment
