Hello!
Any module that works off of the main "SugarBean" can be supported by SecuritySuite. Currently, there is not a lifetime license.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers, -Jason

Great question. If some stock/core modules just don't work right they need a little rewiring. I'm not sure why, but here is how to get those 2 right.
Edit modules/AOS_Invoices/vardefs.php. Change the very last line to this (removes security_groups):
VardefManager::createVardef('AOS_Invoices', 'AOS_Invoices', array('basic', 'assignable'));
Save
Edit modules/AOS_Quotes/vardefs.php. Change the very last line to this (removes security_groups):
VardefManager::createVardef('AOS_Quotes', 'AOS_Quotes', array('basic', 'assignable'));
Save
Run a Quick Repair & Rebuild
These 2 modules should now show in the Hookup Module tool.
Hope this helps!

Sure thing. You should now see an Enterprise key on your demo keys page here: https://store.suitecrm.com/demokeys

Copy custom/metadata/securitygroups_usersMetaData.php to metadata/ and it'll go away. Not sure why it wants it there. I believe it's a stock SuiteCRM thing.

We've all done the same thing before...many times!
Glad you got it figured out.

The warning error can be ignored for this.
Does the license still work on the existing production site (it appears so)? If so, something is environment-wise is preventing the connection from being made or from the post-validation process to complete.
Config file won't matter anymore as license-related stuff is now stored in the SuiteCRM config table.
Can you try pinging store.suitecrm.com from the new server?

Thanks for reporting this. It is now fixed in the latest 3.2 release of SecuritySuite, available in your downloads.

Sure, set as a normal user and then give them admin access via https://store.suitecrm.com/docs/securitysuite/grant-admin-rights. Then set rights to Users and Groups to group only so that they can only see users/groups in their own group(s).
In theory, this should work just fine. I believe there are plenty of setups doing this.

Field level access was never a feature of SecuritySuite, but there is a Field Level Access add-on that might have been what you were using: https://store.suitecrm.com/addons/suitecrm-field-level-access-control

Hi Peter,
The custom group layouts is still supported in 7.13. This allows you to hide/show certain fields for different groups of fields. More information on that functionality can be found at https://store.suitecrm.com/docs/securitysuite/custom-group-layouts.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Daniel,
Have you used the Hookup tool on the Admin page in the SecuritySuite section to connect it to Security Groups correctly yet? SuiteCRM doesn't create the relationship correctly by default.
To resolve follow these steps:
View CommentEdit the vardefs.php for that module Remove 'security_groups' from the VardefManager::createVardef call Run Quick Repair & Rebuild a couple of times Go to Admin->Hookup Module Choose your module and click OK Run Quick Repair & Rebuild for good measure
