#5904 - Questions about: document integration and custom module support.
Hello,
I am considering purchasing the Boru Drag and Drop add-on and wanted to make sure I fully understood how it works before making the purchase.
Are the uploaded files stored within SuiteCRM's native Documents module and linked to the record as standard document relationships, or are they saved to a separate database table and kept isolated from the Documents module?
Does the drag and drop upload work with custom modules, or is it limited to the default SuiteCRM modules such as Opportunities, Contacts, Accounts, etc.?
Thank you in advance for your response.
Best regards, Szymon

Hello Szymon,
Thanks for your questions. 1. Yes, the files are stored within SuiteCRM's native documents module and linked to the record per the standard relationships. 2. To be honest, I don't know if it works with custom modules. I'll have to check with my developer and let you know.
Sincerely, Pat O'Brien

Hello Szymon,
I just talked to my developer, and he believes that it will work with custom modules, but he's not 100% sure. I would encourage you to do the free trial and check it out for yourself. We are very busy this week and likely will not have a chance to check on it until next week. Let me know your preference.

Hi Pat,
I would be very grateful if you could test it by next Wednesday. If that is not possible, I will go ahead and check it myself using the free trial.
Regards, Szymon
