#5072 - How to Allow certain non-admin user to edit queries
We'd like to allow a few non-administrator users to edit saved queries in our SQLQuery installation.
How can this be done?

Please see User Guide section at the end - Non-administrator users can access the module provided they are given the SQLQuery module URL [./index.php?module=SQLQuery&action=query] AND one of the following:
1 - they are assigned a SqlQuery role by an Administrator 2 - Authorized users can optionally create a dashlet from the SuiteCRM Dashboard: Add Dashlets > Click Web Tab > Website = paste the URL from above > Add
Thank you and hope this helps.

This does not help. We already have non-admin users adding a dashlet to their dashboard and running saved queries from there.
What we need is for non-admin users to be able to EDIT saved queries.

By design, creating and editing of queries is allowed only for admins, since queries can impact the overall performance of the CRM system. Often times queries can be designed to take advantage of database various values as parameters based on users running them. Thank you and hope this helps.
