Introduction
Whats is Mandrill? Mandrill is an email infrastructure service offered as an add-on for MailChimp that you can use to send personalized, one-to-one e-commerce emails, or automated transactional emails. How Does it Work? With Mandrill, you can send emails through the Mandrill API or SMTP integration. If you're already sending transactional emails for your website through SMTP, you can typically change your SMTP credentials to Mandrill's and begin sending immediately. With the Mandrill API, you can send emails, get information about your account, and view or parse reporting data in your own app or system. What does the Mandrill Connector do? We‘ve implemented the Mandrill API for SuiteCRM so you can utilize it through your SuiteCRM Instance. Simply choose a target list and a template (SuiteCRM or Mailchimp), enter your Credentials and send your Email to all your Contacts on choosen target list. You do not need to worry about limits and blacklists anymore since Mandrill takes care for you.
