[Support of Open Office and MS Office?]

Yes, the add-on supports MS Office files for Word and Excel. PowerPoint is not supported yet. Yes the add-on supports the Open Office standards No, the add-on does not support any MAC based Office handlings

[Support of PDF conversion given?]

Yes, the add-on will convert the origin template into PDF on the fly, if you activate the option. The resulting PDF is based on open PDF restrictions. If you require individual PDF handling especially for your business needs such as Adobe, you will have to use the origin format and convert it manually.

[Commercial fonts are supported?]

So far there is only support for MS Calibri and Cambria fonts. The fonts will be substituted during the conversion. Substitution replaces the font by an open font, but keeps the right margins and formattings. Any open font is supported. Executing the document processing in its original format such as .docx will not change any used font, since it is embedded.

[How many jumps to other modules can be achieved?]

There is only support for two jumps! We are convinced, you can gather all necessary data within two relationship jumps. Be aware there is a logical restriction of relationship associations. It would be impossible to process many-many relationships, because you would miss the initial trigger for the context.

[Any SuiteCRM module can be processed?]

There is support for the most commonly used modules such as Account, Opportunities, Invoices, etc. Internal system based modules for administration, settings, communication, workflow handling are not supported. Such modules do not match the actual use-case of generating documents. Unknown 3rd party modules should be supported, yet there is no warranty given.

[Is SuiteCRM 8 supported?]

Yes, the add-on support SuiteCRM 8 and SuiteCRM 7. Please read the caption of installing this add-on. Due to backward compatibility, PHP is supported up to version 8.2 and Composer 2.7.6.

[Is there any additional support available?]

Yes, you can drop an e-mail to "info@cm-sugar.at" including your license information. The more concrete you can be, the easier will be for us. Please attach the wanted files, define the context for which module you intent to create the document and which fields / information you want to use. We do not provide styling support for your templates. After checking your request, we will provide an offer for our support.
