Document Templates for SuiteCRM
This add-on provides an advanced mode of integrating individual document template features into your current SuiteCRM instance. There are no limited or hard-coded HTML templates installed, such as used by other modules.
Got an existing document?
Just create your template as used to. There is support for Open-Office documents as well as for Microsoft Office templates. Create your files, user your cooperate design, add the wanted information and place the dynamic blocks. Use all the known features of Office programs like formatting, dynamic content, tables, hyperlinks, references, styling, etc.
There is also support for complex spreadsheet files. Generate Excel reports by using raw data sheets for exported data sets. Convert sheets into pivot representation or grouped columns. No need for additional reporting plug-ins, if you know the common spreadsheet tools. Let your assistance work as they were used to do without mastering any HTML template files or unknown CRM filters.

Works With Existing Modules
Provide the base of its module e.g. "Accounts", place the referenced fields and copy them into you template following a special syntax. Upload the edited template and run it. Advanced SuiteCRM users can use special logic template blocks, which provide combined data structures into its scope. For example you can gather all positions of an invoice or select open project tasks into a project report.
Templates can be converted on the fly into PDF. However, the PDF conversion bases on open PDF restrictions. Be aware of licensed fonts such as Microsoft "Calibri" or "Cambria". CM & Sugar provided identical substitutions, yet you should use open fonts such as "Arial" or "sans-serif".
