Installation Guide — Autodraft for SuiteCRM

Follow these steps to install and configure Autodraft for SuiteCRM.

Prerequisites

• SuiteCRM 8.x (SuiteCRM v8.6+)
• Admin access to SuiteCRM
• File system access to your SuiteCRM instance

Installation Steps

1. Upload the Plugin

• Go to Admin Panel
• Navigate to Module Loader
• Click Upload
• Select the Autodraft package ZIP file
• Click Upload

2. Install the Package

• After upload, click Install
• Review the package details
• Click Commit

3. Run Quick Repair & Rebuild

• Go to Admin → Repair
• Click Quick Repair and Rebuild
• Execute any SQL queries if prompted

4. Configure Autodraft Settings

• Go to Admin → Autodraft Settings
• Configure the following:

Save Mode

• Update Existing Draft: Updates the same draft continuously
• Create New Draft: Creates a new draft on each save

Draft Retention

• Set number of days to keep drafts
• Option to Keep drafts indefinitely

5. Verify Installation

• Open any module (e.g., Leads, Accounts)
• Start typing in a form
• Confirm that drafts are being saved automatically

Uninstallation

• Go to Admin → Module Loader
• Locate Autodraft
• Click Uninstall

Notes

• Ensure proper permissions on SuiteCRM directories
• It is recommended to backup your system before installation
