1. Where are drafts stored?
Drafts are stored securely within SuiteCRM (database).
2. Does Autodraft affect performance?
No. Autodraft is optimized for minimal impact and runs in the background.
3. Can I disable Autodraft for specific modules?
No .
4. What happens if I submit the form?
Once a record is saved successfully: - The draft is either deleted or marked as completed - No duplicate data is created
5. Can users see each other's drafts?
No. Drafts are user-specific and isolated (not even admins can see other users drafts).
7. Is it secure?
Yes. Draft data follows SuiteCRM security model and user permissions.
8. Can drafts be recovered after deletion?
No. Once deleted (manually or by retention rules), drafts cannot be restored.
9. Does it work with custom modules?
Yes. Autodraft supports standard and custom modules.
10. Do I need training to use it?
No. Autodraft works automatically without any user interaction.
Best Practices
- Keep retention period reasonable (e.g., 15–30 days)
- Use Update Mode for simplicity
- Use Create Mode only if version tracking is needed
