#5865 - Sync Challenges with Office 365 – Contacts & Calendar Issues

Hi everyone,

We’re currently experiencing some sync issues between SuiteCRM and Office 365 and wanted to check with the community before opening a formal support ticket.

Details: SuiteCRM version: (e.g. 7.x / 8.x — please adjust) Exchange / Office 365 Integration version: (plugin version) Office 365 tenant used by: Escape Road Sync scope: Emails, Contacts, and Calendar Authentication: OAuth (Microsoft 365)

Problems: After initial setup, the integration appears to authenticate correctly, but we’re seeing inconsistent sync behavior, especially with contacts and calendar events: Some contacts created or updated in Office 365 do not appear in SuiteCRM, while others sync normally. Calendar events created in SuiteCRM sometimes sync to Office 365 with a delay, or not at all. In a few cases, duplicate records appear after re-running the sync. Email sync seems mostly stable, which makes the issue harder to pinpoint. This is affecting daily workflows at Escape Road, especially for team members who rely on Outlook as their primary interface.
