#2885 - Kanban Board per Account

Open General Question created by davidmakrucki 3 years ago

Hi,

I read that this adding works with plenty of modules. However, instead of having one kanban view for all my tasks or accounts or ... . I‘d like to have one board (or at least one view) per account. So that, for instance, I am able to view all tasks for a certain account. Is this possible and if not, how would you conceptually think about this? Creating filters would be an option, but I want to avoid that the users have to filter the board every time for their account. Screenshots would be best to know if the addon suits our needs.

Thanks!

    Hello,

Can you tell me how many Accounts you have, and how many approximately tasks on each? If there are not many Accounts, then you can predefine all the boards for them. Otherwise, it need to add a dynamic filter to the board so that in online the user can change the Accounts without going to the kanban editing page. Now this is not, if you are interested in such a solution, then we can calculate it (preliminarily feature will take from 16-24 hours, 32$ per hour). However, with such use important functions of Kanban are lost - for example, you cannot change the status of Account.

    Hi,

lets say we have 20 accounts and each account has max. 50 tasks I guess. Adding every board manually is not an option. Do you have any examples (maybe in a standard SuiteCRM module) that uses a dynamic filter? I‘d like to get a feeling of the usability. Screenshots would also be sufficient.

    Thanks!

I mean somthing like that (this is dummy screen). It's dropdown with list of acconts. Then you change accoint in dropdown, Kanban will be redraw.
