#5591 - BV Mass Whatsapp modal does not appear on 2nd+ page
Hi,
As per the subject, if I have more than one page of contacts, and I want to mass send a WhatsApp to, say, the 2nd page of contacts, going to the 2nd page and selecting all the contacts on the current page, then pressing the BV Mass Whatsapp button does not do anything. This should be easily reproducible. We are using SuiteCRM version 7.14.5 and the latest version of the extension (Sept 2024).

Good evening,
it seems that upon further testing deleting the browser's cache revealed that the popup is not appearing at all, under any circumstance. We have tried pressing the Whatsapp Icon in ListView, in DetailView, and through the Mass BV WhatsApp action. For the record, what is the proper procedure to install an update without having to delete the configuration or columns that now contain data (such as the template content IDs)?

If you are talking about Email Templates module data, even if you uninstall those fields wont get deleted in the backend. In database both the fields content Sid & Content Variables data will be retained.
But to be double sure before uninstalling you can export the database table email_template and can take the backup of it.
You can uninstall the existing package and install again after taking the backup.

That's what we did - we uninstalled the previous package and installed the new one. The configuration was preserved as expected. The problem we're having now is that after clearing the browser cache the extension isn't working at all. Can you replicate this? Does the latest build of the extension work on your end after clearing the browser cache? If it is a problem with our installation, we can try reinstalling it. At what point should we repair & rebuild suite? Is there any other admin action we have to take?

We installed new package and tested after clearing browser cache, We are not able to reproduce the issue. Can you please reinstall & check once.
