#5393 - How to open a business conversation?
Hello,
we are using the extension on trial to see if it works. Is it possible to open a conversation with a user that has not messaged you before? When I add a new lead and try to text them on whatsapp through the extension, it says "message sent" but the message is not received by the lead. If the lead writes first on whatsapp, replies sent through the CRM are received correctly. This probably has something to do with the conversation model that whatsapp uses... how can I tell the extension I'm trying to open a new conversation?

Hello
For Business Account, you need to have Twilio approved template for you to send first message with a lead. Do you have Twilio approved template?

We made both a Content Template and a Whatsapp Template (although these are going to be deprecated) and they were approved, but how can I use the Twilio template in the extension? The "templates" in the chatbox don't seem to be synced with the twilio templates

Hello
For that you need to create a Email template in CRM, with the approved message as the body of Email template. You can set the SMS Module as Leads and check the SMS check box.
In the chatbox, you will be able to select the newly created template with approved message in it.

I see, that makes sense. However, when I try to make an email template, I get a database error. I checked the suitecrm logs and it seems the query is failing because there's a column missing, "bv_sms_check" and "bv_sms_check, shouldn't they have been added by the module loader? Can I safely add them myself? If so, where/how?

Running a repair and rebuilt synced the vardefs and fixed my issue creating the template, however when I choose the template in the chatbox and hit send, I'm warned that "I can't send a blank message" (I put the approved message in the body of the template and it was correctly loaded into the body of the whatsapp message, but it still thinks it's empty)
