SMS Integration For SuiteCRM

Inbound SMS lets your CRM capture replies sent by customers from any SMS gateway.

1. Twilio – Inbound SMS Setup

• Log in to your Twilio Console → https://console.twilio.com
• Go to Phone Numbers → Manage → Active Numbers.
• Select the number you use for SMS.
• In the Messaging section, find A Message Comes In.
• Paste your CRM Inbound Handler URL as shown below. Replace the sample URL (your-crm.com) with your own domain name.

2. Plivo – Inbound SMS Setup

• Log in to your Plivo Console → https://console.plivo.com
• Go to Messaging → Applications.
• Create a new Application or edit an existing one.
• In Message URL, enter your CRM inbound handler URL:
• Paste your CRM Inbound Handler URL as shown below. Replace the sample URL (your-crm.com) with your own domain name.

• Assign this application to your Plivo Phone Number.

3. Vonage (Nexmo) – Inbound SMS Setup

• Log in to your Vonage Console → https://dashboard.nexmo.com
• Go to Numbers → Your Numbers.
• Select your SMS-enabled number.
• In the Webhook Settings, set the Inbound SMS Webhook URL
• Paste your CRM Inbound Handler URL as shown below. Replace the sample URL (your-crm.com) with your own domain name.

4. ClickSend – Inbound SMS Setup

• Log in to your ClickSend dashboard
• Go to Message Settings > Inbound Rules
• Create a new rule.
• Set the To field to the dedicated number or Any if you are using shared numbers.
• Set the Action to URL and paste the webhook URL you copied from your integration service.
• Paste your CRM Inbound Handler URL as shown below. Replace the sample URL (your-crm.com) with your own domain name.
