MTS Kanban brings a visual, drag-and-drop board into SuiteCRM so teams can manage stage-based work with less friction. Users can review records, move them across columns, and keep pipelines current from a single workspace instead of jumping between list views and record forms.
The addon is designed for practical day-to-day usage across sales, support, and custom workflows. SuiteCRM 8 includes the most complete experience, while SuiteCRM 7 remains supported for core Kanban usage.

Configuration
Access Kanban Configuration
- Go to Admin Panel
- Click MTS Kanban Configuration
3. Create new MTS Kanban
Module Configuration
1. Select Target Module
Choose which module to enable Kanban for:
- Opportunities
- Leads
- Cases
- Tasks
- Custom Modules
2. Configure Group Field (Column Field)
This field defines Kanban columns.
Examples:
sales_stagestatuscase_status
Requirements:
- Must be an Enum/Dropdown field
- Must exist in the selected module
3. Configure Card Fields
Select fields to display on each Kanban card.
Common fields:
- Name
- Assigned User
- Amount
- Due Date
- Custom fields
Admin can:
- Add or remove fields
- Reorder display order
- Configure styling
4. Enable Column Summary
You can enable:
- Record Count per column
- Sum of numeric/currency field per column
Select the appropriate aggregation field (e.g., Amount).
5. Role & Permission Requirements
Users must have:
- List permission
- Edit permission (required for drag & drop updates)
