What's New in v1.2.0
Version 1.2.0 brings a major leap in day-to-day usability. You can now view, act on, and manage your records without ever leaving the board.
Each card shows a live activity indicator — a single colour-coded dot that tells you at a glance whether a call, meeting, or task is overdue, due today, or planned. Click the dot to see the full activity list, mark items done, add notes, schedule follow-ups, or open the edit form — all in a popover anchored to the card. No page navigation required.
Clicking a card body opens a Quick View panel that slides in from the right, showing the complete record detail — all fields, properly formatted with your locale's date format, timezone, and currency — alongside Edit and Delete actions.
Deleting a record is now possible directly from the board, with a clean inline confirmation that prevents accidental clicks.
Columns can be folded into a narrow vertical strip to keep your workspace tidy when working with many columns. The fold state is remembered per module, so your layout is restored exactly as you left it on your next visit. Each column header also displays a progress bar showing that column's share of the total record count at a glance.
On the configuration side, the admin setup page has been reorganised into logical sections (Board Setup, Card Fields, Appearance, Advanced), making it significantly easier to configure a new board. The column picker and column color settings now sit side by side, the Advanced section (Custom WHERE) is collapsible, and the page shows a loading indicator while fetching field options.
Finally, v1.2.0 completes full localisation support — every label in the board and config page is driven by mod_strings, making it straightforward to add translations for any language.

Flexible Configuration for Any Module
MTS Kanban is designed to work with any module, as long as the module contains at least one enum field (including custom enum fields) that can be used as the Kanban column (category).
Configuration capabilities include:
- Select any enum field to use as the Kanban column.
- Support summing any numeric field and displaying the total in each column header.
- Choose which enum options should be displayed on the Kanban board.
- Drag and drop to reorder columns directly from the configuration page.
- Fully compatible with both standard and custom modules.
Advanced Card Display Configuration
- You have full control over how cards are displayed:
- Select any fields to show on the Kanban card.
- Configure text color and background color based on field values.
- Set specific colors for each dropdown (enum) option.
