    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us. You can add a tagMe field in search view of advance or basic layout from studio. To search a tag you need to use wild card search for specific tag, If that is suffice for you. In case if you want to have Multi select Dropdown of all the available tags. I can provide you few files via email that you need to put to the specified path of your SuiteCRM Instance. But few files may lead to Un-upgradesafe change. So after each upgrade you need to replace those changes in your instance.

    Thank & Regards, Team Urdhva Tech

    I also encounter this issue. I can use filter to identity a record matching Tag (TagMe), but it does not work in global search. Is there setting changes that I need to do? Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for using our add-on. You need to add the field into the global search. Please follow the below steps and it will work.

    1) Add the following line into the file > custom/Extension/modules/YOUR_MODULE/Ext/Vardefs/sugarfield_YOUR_FIELD_NAME.php

    $dictionary['YOUR_MODULE']['fields']['YOUR_FIELD_NAME']['unified_search'] = true; // Here contact_tag_c is the field name. Contact is the module name.

    Example: $dictionary['Contact']['fields']['contact_tag_c']['unified_search'] = true; // Here contact_tag_c is the field name. Contact is the module name.

    2) Add the following line into the file > custom/modules/Contacts/metadata/SearchFields.php.

    'contact_tag_c' =>  array (
        'query_type' => 'default',
    ),

    3) Do "Quick Repair & Rebuild" from admin.

    4) Go to the global search and search with the %(wildcard characters).

    Thanks & Regards, Team Urdhva Tech.
