#2012 - Search not working & Predefine tags not possible

Hi

I have installed tagMe 3.2.12 on SuiteCRM 7.11.2 (now upgraded to 7.11.5). I have two problems: 1. I have some contacts and leads where I have set some tags. When I search for the tag i search-field, I get the tag itself as a result, but not the contacts and leads that have the tag set. I have put the custom field (tags_c) in Studio->Contacts(translated to "Kontakter")->Layouts->SuiteCRM Dashlet->Search 2. When I try to create a predefined tag, I get the error: "Tag with Color is blank". I have manually modified some of my created tags (created on the contact/lead-edit-page) to be predefined; When I try to edit e.g. the "CAD" tag, the textfield in the dialog is filled with "CCAADD", if I try to edit the "Udvikling" tag, the text field is filled with "FFFFFF".

Do you have any idea how to make it work?

    Sorry for the inconvenience. It should work properly.

    (1) I have checked with Point #1 and it worked for us. Maybe there is some search/unified search issue which I have to check in your instance.

    (2) For Point #2, Please do the "Repair JS Files" from admin >> Repair section. Then after clear the browser cache and check. Predefined Tag will work properly then.

      (1) It seems that it might help to rebuild AOD-Index. I am doing that now and will get back, if it helps.

      (2) I have tried "Repair JS Files" and cleared browser cache ( event tried a new browser on a machine that has never accessed the SuiteCRM before). It didn't help and still doesn't work.

    Hello fih_le34,

    (1) Tag Search: We have to use the wildcard character(%) to search the tag.

    (2) Predefine Tag Issue: File writes issue on the server that's why the predefined tag was not saved.
