It's your job to guide a glowing ball down a never-ending 3D slope that's full of dangerous obstacles, sharp turns, and drops you didn't see coming. To keep the ball on the track and avoid collisions, players must use the computer or device controls to move the ball left and right. It gets more difficult as the slope 2 ball stays in play for longer. The speed does, however, slowly pick up, making each second harder and needing the player to react faster.
The easy but addicting gameplay is one of the best things about Slope 2. The rules are simple enough that even people who have never played before can start right away. However, to get good at the game, you need to practice, focus, and have skill. The landscape is always changing, so the game never gets boring. Players have to quickly get used to new obstacles and paths that don't always go in the same direction. There is something new to experience on each run, which keeps players coming back to play and improve their skills.
