Implicit FrontEnd provides deep integration with Microsoft Outlook. In addition to full two-way synchronization of Outlook data such as contacts and calendars, it allows you to sync CRM data including accounts, opportunities, quotes etc. so that you can do all your CRM work without leaving Outlook. In addition, FrontEnd allows you to leverage the rich Outlook functionality to provide tools such as manual and automatic email archiving, collaboration and approval, opportunity tracking and more.
#3017 - User Specification
My outlook has two accounts. I installed Implicit Outlook Plugin. It selected the default email address as the licensed user. I want to use the other email address as the licensed user. I removed the license from Implicit's license portal. But there is no way to change the email address even if I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it. Please help!!!!

Hi,
You need to make sure the other account is selected as default in Outlook and then under FrontEnd Options > Advanced, select rest configuration and restart Outlook. You'll be prompted to login again to FrontEnd and this time it will pick up the new default account.

Are you sure this works? Did you try yourself? I tried this method several times. It does not work!

I tried it one more time very carefully. 1) I went to Implicit License Portal and removed the license of the user (myself's 1st email). 2) I made sure that in Outlook, my 2nd email was the default Outlook account. 3) I reset the configuration (Implicit->Option->Advanced->Reset Configuration). 4) I exited the outlook 365. 5) I restarted the outlook. It asked me to reconfigure the server info. 6) After the initialization process, it was working but my 1st email was selected as the user by Implicit somehow. This is a serious bug! I really cannot use the plugin if this is not resolved quickly. It will regard the domain of the 1st email address as Internal User! Please help fix it as soon as possible!

Hi,
This is not a bug. You need to ensure through the control panel email configuration app that the account you want FrontEnd to use is selected as default. Alternatively, you can create a new profile with this account, activate FrontEnd and then add the other account to the profile.

How to do it? How to get to the control panel? Please be specific.

Hi,
We are referring to Windows control panel where you set the Outlook profiles and accounts.

I am sure what you are talking about. I clearly documented what I did and the result is that it did not work. Then you threw in some jargon here and there and nobody understood. Please try it yourself and send me the exact steps how you did. It does not do the job! To me, this is a serious show stopper bug. If you do not fix it or have a workaround, I would ask for a refund.

Hi,
Please ask your IT person to do the following:
Rest assure that it works!

Again, you are not doing something that you would like to do but did not listen to your customers!
I have two email accounts under Outlook ALREADY in Outlook. Why do I have to create a new mail profile in Step 2? Also, why do I have to add the other mailbox account in Step 5?
My question is simple and clear: I have two email accounts under Outlook. One email account was somehow chosen to be the licensee of FrontEnd. I wanted to use the other email account as the licensee of FrontEnd.
Please list the step-by-step to get this done!
Thank You!
