How It Works
Events for Syncing Calls into SuiteCRM
- Call Started
- Call In Progress
- Call Ended
When a call is received, it will check for the caller’s phone number in SuiteCRM. If an existing Contact or Lead is found, the call record will be linked to it. If no record exists, the system will automatically create a new Contact or Lead along with a Call record. Additionally, details such as call duration, status, and AI-generated insights (e.g., transcriptions or summaries) will be stored in SuiteCRM for reference.
When a customer calls, Vapi.ai automatically creates records such as Contact/Lead and Call in SuiteCRM.
Contact/Lead
It creates a Lead/Contact record based on the phone number that exists in SuiteCRM and links it to the corresponding call records.
Call Record
It creates a Call record with all the details of the Vapi.ai call, including status and call start details.
When a call is completed, the integration updates the Call record and stores the recording url, transcript and call summary in SuiteCRM.
SuiteCRM User Dashboard
SuiteCRM users can view all calls assigned to them directly on their dashboard.
