Use cases and Features

1. New Deals - When a Sales Executive adds a new opportunity or qualifies a lead into an opportunity, and adds the expected budget amount to that opportunity, the app will send an SMS to the respective Sales Manager if the opportunity budget value is above the threshold amount. The SMS that will be sent to the Sales Manager: “A new opportunity ((Title)) for ((Account)) with probable value (Budget value) has been added.”

2. Deal Updates - Sales Executive updates the budget amount of any opportunity, the app will send an SMS to the respective Sales Manager if the opportunity budget value is above the threshold amount. The SMS that will be sent to the Sales Manager: “An opportunity ((Title)) for ((Account)) has been updated with probable value ( Budget value ).”

3. Winning Deals - When you set the opportunity to Closed/Won -> It sends a text saying "Congratulations! An opportunity "{Opportunity Name]" has been won in the amount of "${Opportunity Amount}"

4. Lost Deals - When you set the opportunity to Lost -> It sends a text saying "We lost an opportunity! The "{Opportunity Name]" has been recently flagged as lost in the amount of "${Opportunity Amount}".

5. Sales Stage Changes - When ever an opportunity Sales Stage is changed, please make it say something like "An opportunity called {Opportunity Name} has changed its sales stage from {Previous Sales Stage} to {Current Sales Stage}. The amount of this opportunity is {$Opportunity Value}"

Setting up Nexmo in SuiteCRM

  1. Goto the Admin Section and look for the SuiteCRM Sales Notification Ninja Configuration section. Click on Configuration Settings.

  2. On configuration settings page, provide your Nexmo API keys (Key and Secret) and the threshold amount for the opportunity. If you want to have a manager notified when a opportunity is created that exceeds $500, then you enter $500 in the amount field.

  • Enable SMS capability in your platform by checking the Enable SMS checkbox.
  • Click on Save.
  • SuiteCRM with Nexmo SMS’s installation and configuration is done.

  • SugarCRM or SuiteCRM user with administrative privileges.
