I understand that after installation it creates a job in the scheduler which runs every 8am, the confusing part is how does it gets the user's birthdate that matches that particular day and how do I configure it to send alert on a day that matches

    Hello,

    There is no configuration needed to send out notifications. As long as the scheduler job runs fine, the plug-in itself will pick up all Birthdays matching today to show notification in notification bar.

    Did you mean send an email notification?
