The plugin can only add sections to the "Where" clause. We have not interrupted the select statement at all, so the "extra SQL" is only the additional Where statements that might be needed that cannot be added via the interface. looking at your SQL above you are trying to amend the Rows returned as well (the select part of the SQL statement), which this plugin does not currently support unfortunately.
The second screenshot of the "complex query" is the SQL Analyser function that formats the resultant SQL in a legible format so you can find/see what will be run and work out table aliases etc to build your additional where statements.
Can you send screen shots of exactly what you have in the "Additional SQL" section please, also a screen shot of the "Analyse SQL" results. please note that the additional SQL should be additional parts of the where (so in your cases axample you would put "name is not NULL" in the box). Also note that it needs to be valid SQL so the fields need to be valid and correct as per the Analyse SQL section so in my Cases for example I would need to put cases.name IS NOT NULL to avoid conflict with joins etc. (less important for simple non joined queries but a good habit to get into). I can tell you the cases example works for me here
Many thanks for your feedback, the store team should be processing your refund shortly. In the meantime could I ask what it is you are trying to acheive within the report module that you can't do without customising other sections of the query please?
We have always found that it is the Where portion that is lacking rather than the fields you can select or the ordering/grouping etc. As such more detailed feedback will allow us to improve our plugin.
May 10th, 2019 @ 3:49 pm I installed this to use with an email based support system. Fed up of just receiving emails (that tend to get added to Junk or Clutter) I wanted actual notifications. Along with the PushBullet app (which needed a bit of fiddling - more than this plugin) this now provides exactly what i want - Push notifications and pop ups when I get urgent support queries.
